Two blackjack tables can look identical and pay very differently. These are the rules to read before you sit down, because they move the house edge more than anything else.

The one rule worth memorising is the payout. A 3:2 table pays C$15 on a C$10 blackjack; a 6:5 table pays C$12 for the same hand. That single change can triple the house edge, so a 3:2 game with otherwise average rules beats a 6:5 game almost every time.
